When the wind blows, the Patagonia Wanaka down jacket would rather walk than take a cab. This urban-friendly jacket offers a waterproof, breathable and warm refuge from the elements.

  • Wanaka is made of a combination of 2-layer polyester shell (50% recycled) for durability, and ultra-insulative 600-fill-power premium goose down to stop bone-chilling cold
  • Fabric is treated with a Durable Water Repellent finish to repel moisture and stains
  • Easy-glide lining is made of recycled polyester with square quilting to keep the down from shifting
  • Multifunctional collar design, inspired by a vintage European army jacket, flips upright and snaps closed to seal out buffeting winds
  • Front zip with snap-closure stormflap
  • Insulated, zip-off hood and drop-tail rear hem protect both your top and bottom
  • Pocketing includes a zippered internal pocket, 2 zippered handwarmer pockets (fleece-lined) and 2 chest pockets
  • The Patagonia Wanaka down jacket has a regular fit that is neither slim nor oversized; it may be worn over heavier mid layers

    I was looking for something that was equally as stylish as it was warm and functional. It had to be warm, waterproof and it had to have a remove-able hood.

    I couldn't be happier with this coat. The down filling isn't the heaviest around but it's plenty for a typical New England winter. I'll wear this to work, out with my wife, playing with the kids, shoveling — again, I couldn't be happier.

    Very good jacket. Looks very sharp, and is waterproof, warm, and very durable. The jacket is a little bulky, and the sizes run big, which could be good if you want to layer underneath. I am usually a large, the medium was too small and my large is little too big. Great buy though!
