Comments about Pearl Izumi ELITE Thermal Cycle Tights - Men's:
Picked these up about three weeks ago, put about 300 miles on them. I am very impressed with their water repellency/wind stopping qualities. Just went through a cold, wet snap and these were comfortable in temperatures down to the mid-twenties with windchill in the upper teens. They do a very good job of retaining warmth, cutting wind, and eliminating rain while remaining breathable.
Concerning sizing and fit, I have no complaints. I'm 6'2", 180 with a 34" inseam and the Large size fits like it should. They are snug, but they are tights, so it's to be expected. So far I have used these everyday for my commute to work and I have not been disappointed. In that time they have weathered rain and snow, windy and icy conditions and frigid temperatures, and performed exceptionally.
In fact, as a testament to their water stopping ability, I clumsily spilled a cup of coffee into my lap this morning and my skin remained dry and unburnt. Literally...on my crotch. Spotless. I would absolutely recommend these to anybody riding in cold, wet climates who want to remain warm and dry. Great, great tights.
As a bonus you can wear them under your regular pants and pretend you're a superhero in disguise.

Comments about Pearl Izumi ELITE Thermal Cycle Tights - Men's:
This is the best pair of cool/cold weather tights I own! I own one pair from the 2007 product line, but the 2010 offering is even better. They fit perfectly and seem to be true for American sizes. I wear them when the temperature drops below 55 and they are good all the way down to at least 30.

Comments about Pearl Izumi ELITE Thermal Cycle Tights - Men's:
Rode 45 miles today in cold with rain blowing sideways and stayed warm and dry. The pants fit great even though they are tighter than standard lycra. There is a lighter weight fabric behind the knee which reduced binding as well as allowed good ventilation.

Comments about Pearl Izumi ELITE Thermal Cycle Tights - Men's:
A Great pair of tights. They fit quite snug and the chamois is the best I've encountered yet. You may feel a bit cold at the beginning of your ride but as you warm up, they warm up, and that's when they work great. I use them to commute into work in the early morning on days that are below 45 but above 35. Below that I layer them with another pair of fleece lined tear-away pants and they're comfortable below 20 and beyond. I would and most likely will buy more of these.

Comments about Pearl Izumi ELITE Thermal Cycle Tights - Men's:
These are really nice tights if you're not a tall guy like me. I tried size medium but gave up. My inseam is 34/35 and these tights are for men with shorter inseams (30-32).

These PI Thermal tights are really nice. I bought the bib version actually and would highly recommend them. Extremely comfortable for a 25 mile ride in temps 40-50 degrees. As for fit/sizing, I'm 5'10" 175 with a 34 waist and 30 inseam and MEDIUM fits like a glove. Nice padding, zippered ankles, and they seem very well made. I've used them twice since I purchased them. Both rides were 20+ miles in dry conditions and cool temps of low 40's to low 50s. They were ideal. Highly recommend.

Comments about Pearl Izumi ELITE Thermal Cycle Tights - Men's:
These repel water very well, even in a downpour. I've used them a couple times a week over the past year and so far the material, zippers, seams, etc. have held up and seem quite durable. So comfortable I don't want to take them off when I'm done riding.

Comments about Pearl Izumi ELITE Thermal Cycle Tights - Men's:
Great pants. I was surprised how uneffected I was by the cold. I've used these pants in below freezing temps and have felt great. They got a little warm when the weather was in the high 40s. The padding might be a bit much, but I'm not complaining.
