Comments about Outdoor Research Furio Jacket - Men's:
The hem to bicep pit zip is a fabulous idea. It allows you to get amazing ventilation when hiking with a loaded pack in the south eas, hot humid and raining alot. THis can be a a good ski shell out west. This is truly a great rain coat. I have gotten to put it through some sereous deluges and it has preformed great

Comments about Outdoor Research Furio Jacket - Men's:
I just received this jacket and i can say from shopping for over a year for the right hardshell i finally found it. I have tried a multitude of jackets ranging from your more basic rei jacket to high end arcteryx and i havent come across anything i fell in love with until now. i'm 6'3" 203 and i wanted a hardshell that was pretty versatile, something i could throw my ww kayak over my shoulder and hike in to the put in and also something that had length enough to get a few turns in on the hill. This jacket fits the mold its has the proshell gore on the shoulders so i can be confident when i shouldering my boat that im not destroying the upper and its still light enough with the paclite body that i can pack it in the boat once at the put in. I was having a problem finding a jacket that was long enough in the torso to ski in with some mid drift coverage and again this jacket fits the bill. My only gripe is that the pockets are uber tiny and cant fit much more then a phone in any one of them. All in all i'm super stoked on this jacket and would definitely recommend it.

Comments about Outdoor Research Furio Jacket - Men's:
I've used this jacket in Alaska, during 8 days of rain. well, we had one sunny day. Worked great, as far as breathability and keeping me dry. helped to have an interior windblock, plus insulating layer. Have also used this jacket to shovel snow. It's not an insulated jacket, so know ahead of time that you'll need insulation underneath. Did some bushwacking, hiking, and heavy duty fishing. Durability great. small issue with the zipping, having waterproof zippers makes it a bit difficult to zip or unzip one handed, but doable. One other note, the velcro straps around the wrists can get into the way of fly line. Had a few issues with line getting caught on the end of the velcro tabs. Minor issue. My brother uses an Arcteryx, my Furio held it's own. I'd definitely buy another if needed. Love the pit zip versatility too.

Comments about Outdoor Research Furio Jacket - Men's:
I wore this outto the last Seattle Sounders game of the playoffs and it performed wonderfully. The rain was comming down like the picture in the jacket's tags and my torso, arms and head stayed perfectly dry. I was not warm though. This is a shell not a parka. I only had a hoodie under it and the shell seemed to breath well. I can only with that I had picked up some pants of simmilar quality, My denim jeans were soaked through. There is ample pocket room for all the things that were normally in my pants pockets(wallet, phone, keys) as well as my hands.
Next time I'll wear my puffy and softshell under it to stay toasty warm as well as dry!!
