Warm and water-resistant woven nylon outer fabric extends stand-alone usability, and its 2-way stretch offers incredible comfort; Durable Water Repellent finish
Lightweight and compressible, the Atom LT features Coreloft™ synthetic insulation in the torso and arms
Polartec® Power Stretch® with Hardface® side panels and underarms increase range of motion and breathability
Front zipper features an insulated windflap
Gusseted underarms and articulated elbows ensure a good fit
Laminated hem drawcord and stretch knit wrist gaskets hold in warmth

What cannot be seen on the pic is that the sides are not made of insulated material but a stretchy thin fleece material. I am 5'3 & 125 lbs & I fit in a small REI thermal take jackt but Arcteryx medium is the size 4 me. So buy a size larger. Also the sleeves are just a tad too long so if u r tall or have long arms go with another brand like Patagonia(all jackt sleeves are way too long 4 me). Since I am flat chested, you may need to go up a size if you are not.

I love this jacket! It is so light but warm especially in the freezing temperatures. It's so light, it doesn't even feel like I'm wearing it. I used to not like winter, but now I do because of this jacket! I'm looking forward to hike more often!
