    I loved this jacket as soon as i saw in in the store. It's lightweight, has an awesome vintage look, and doesn't proclaim it's name brand all over the jacket like some other brands do. However, the first time I wore this jacket, I sat down in my car seat and latched my seat belt. After about a 20 minute car ride, I got out of my car and realized I now had a large matted-down stripe on my chest where the seatbelt rested against the jacket. After trying to fluff back the jackets "fur", and even washing the jacket in hopes that it would go back to it's normal appearance. It didn't. So, unfortunately I had to return the jacket to REI. It's a shame, because i really loved the look of the jacket, but the matted-down stripe was too distracting for my liking. Beautiful design, not very durable.

        Wore in the Smokey's in November and stayed very warm. Not very breathable if you are sweating, but tremendously comfortable. I purchased an XL because I have broad shoulders, so the sleeves are a bit long. But I usually utilize the thumb holes, which makes the length perfect.

          I've worn this jacket just about everyday so far this fall. It's very soft and warm, and gets lots of compliments. Works great under a weatherproof shell when needed. Great color, too....sort of a dark charcoal. It fits snug, so go up a size if you like a looser feel.

          I'm considering getting a second one and stashing it away for future use. Love it.

            This is the lightest, softest and warmest jacket I have ever had.
            I wear it every morning, over a t shirt, when I take the dog for a walk ..outside temps right now in high 30's to low 40's. Great styling and good fit.
            Have not tested it for strong wind or rain.
            The best complement ... my wife wants one like it!
