This seems to run a full size too big -- I'm 5'3", 115 pounds and the small did not even sit next to my skin. Also, the product description does not say there is a built-in shelf bra, which I do not like, and bought the top partially because I thought it didn't have one.
However, the material seems to be high quality. I might buy an XS and remove the shelf bra; it would be a great wicking and breathable cami for winter sports.

I read the other reviews and ordered on the larger size (i usually wear from about an 8-10 and am a 34DD/36D). No matter what size you get, I would anticipate a strange fit. I am tall (a little over 6 foot) and it's so long it came down past my bum. Normally I would like this but it's not tailored at all. The built-in "bra" is a joke; an extra layer of flimsy material with loose elastic bunched at the bottom. Not only that, but you can actually see the shelf-bra through the top when wearing. I couldn't even justify [$] as a loungewear/pajama top & have to return tomorrow.

I like this as a baselayer. The fabric is breathable and light. However, this cami came with some added perks that were not in the product description: 1) it has a shelf bra 2) it has adjustable straps. I gave it 3 stars because it is overall just OK. The adjustable strap loops are plastic (and will probably break one day), and the sizing is off. a Large in Patagonia hangs off me, and an I got this in an XL (I followed the size chart, thankfully) and this baby fits like a glove. Order up a size/follow the size chart is my advice.

I wear a Large in Patagonia capilenes, and based on other reviews I bought an XL in this top. The top fits very loosely. I would go a size down except the shelf bra is very small. I wear size 36D bra and the shelf bra is WAY too small.

A previous reviewer stated that a "healthy B-cup" would find the built-in shelf bra of use. Well, I am exactly that, but this shirt should have NEVER been designed with that built in bra. Here's why:
The generic REI sizing chart indicated I was a medium (the same size a generally buy in camis with built-in bras). The shirt came in and I immediately was afraid I accidentally ordered a large or extra large. That's how huge it looked coming out of the package. I am a 30 inch waist, B-cup, 42 inch hips with broad shoulders and this cami wasn't too lost and not too clingy and is long enough to tuck into pants if needed. The material is very lightweight, very soft, and great for moisture wicking (the tag indicates this cami should be used as a base layer).
However, the built in bra is completely USELESS. Instead of a shelf-bra design, they attempted to stitch in a cup shape inside. The shoulder straps had to be tightened to the maximum it would allow me and it still did not support my B-cup bust (it was extremely loose, as a matter of fact). I wouldn't even walk in this cami without a separate bra underneath. It provides as much support as a regular cami without the built in bra. Additionally, the strap below the bust is over an inch wide elestric band that DOES cling to the ribs. If that was combined with a built in bra that was properly designed, it might have been effective. Instead, it just provides a werid feeling of wearinga heart rate monitor and absolutely no bust support.
And if you're hoping washing and drying it will shrink it any, it WON'T. It is a polyester blend and does not shrink.
Overall, I'll keep the cami around for yard work, sleep wear (probably great for hot summer nights), or casual house wear, but there's no way I could not use this for strenuous activities without wearing a bra.
I do NOT recommend this cami for any use other than maybe nightwear.
