Comments about REI All-Season Gloves - Boys':
I got these gloves for my 5.5 year old son. I followed the size chart as a guide and measured appropriately. I ordered the XS (6-7) and they are SNUG. We had a hard time getting them on his hands. They are very nice gloves, however, and we will be exchanging for a larger size.

Comments about REI All-Season Gloves - Boys':
These are great gloves for everyday outdoor play in cooler months and everyday hand protection even in the winter months.
Best features:
1. grip: my kid can hang on the monkey bars, climb things at park, hang on to swings with these gloves because of the web looking rubber grip.
2. My 5 year old can get these on by himself-rare for a glove.
Only caution: while he can be outside in winter with these gloves for recess, they are not good for wet or snow play more than 20-30 minutes because not waterproof. We use waterproof mittens for that.

Comments about REI All-Season Gloves - Boys':
Bought these gloves for my son and he wears them all the time, especially since he has to walk to school and they provide warmth on the cool / cold days of late fall early winter. They are also easy for him to stick in his pocket without worry that they will fall out, because they are not bulky.

Comments about REI All-Season Gloves - Boys':
I needed some gloves for my six year old who is learning to snowboard. Previous reviewer said her child's hands were warm after two hours in the snow, and I can concur! My son spends 90 minutes falling down and comes back with warm hands. Better yet, the gloves allow enough dexterity that he can fasten his own bindings without taking the glvoes off. Best purchase all winter!

Comments about REI All-Season Gloves - Boys':
I bought these for my 3 year old son this week. He has been playing outside for 1-2 hours, making snowballs and snowmen. His hands still feel warm and dry when he comes inside and we take the gloves off. The snug fit and grip surface allow him to use his hands to pick things up, open doors, and play, unlike other bulky gloves or mittens, which are pretty frustrating for him. Most of all they stay on his hands and keep him warm and dry.
