        The blue bite valve from my still-truckin' Better Bottle had grown a narly little fungus. No amount of toothbrush scrubbing or Q-tip jamming got it out of there, so this was the right replacement pack for me.

            I bought this set to replace my one lost bite valve (lost it while cleaning it on a camping trip). While the set comes with a few more parts than I really need right now, it's great to have the additional straws and bite valve as a backup. We have 3 Camelbak water bottles in the house that these will fit.

            The quality is exactly what you'd expect. Came ready right out of the package - though I rinsed it first.

            This new bite valve is a bit more stiff than the one it replaced. Requires a bit more biting closer to the tip, but I expect that it will soften up with use over time.

            Overall, nice, perfect-fit replacement!
