The svelte Mountain Hardwear Phantom sleeping bag maximizes warmth while minimizing weight and bulkiness—perfect for low elevations and warm climates.
- Slim shape holds insulation close to the body without being uncomfortably restrictive
- Offers extra room at the elbows and hips while reducing volume around the head and from hips to knees
- 3/4-length zipper increases weight savings
- Insulated with superior European 800-fill-power goose down, blended and lab-certified in the United States
- Superlight, high-tenacity nylon shell features a highly water-resistant acrylic finish
- Box baffle construction maximizes loft and minimizes weight; 5 in. baffle width keeps down from shifting, so cold spots are prevented
- Tuck-stitched baffles prevent threads from snagging and breaking
- Warmth is optimized through differential cut of shell and lining fabrics, allowing the goose down adequate room to expand to its full loft
- Insulated draft tube isn't sewn through and extends to bottom of bag to eliminate cold spots
- Multi-baffled, tailored hood lies close along the sides of neck and face for easy warmth
- When it's cold enough to cinch down hood, face gasket makes hood closure more comfortable and effective
- Multibaffle Comfort Footbox is shaped to allow feet to rest naturally; shape preserves loft and allows down to drape closer to feet for more warmth
- 2-way, locking zipper sliders stay in place when bag is partially unzipped for ventilation; snag-guards keep fabric from catching in zipper
- Insulated zipper gusset seals in heat at base of zipper

This is an amazing sleeping bag! When I first got I was a little worried that it might be too cold, because it is so light and there seems to be so little down and you can almost look through it. But no need to worry!
It's warm, comfortable, light and packs very small.
I will only use for summer camping. In high altitude or during cold nights in the summer I add a silk liner, then it's perfect, but in normal conditions the silk liner will make it too warm for summer camping.

This is an amazing bag, I have only used it a couple times. So far so good. It is amazing down material. It's Very very light and it packs small too. I am 5'11" 200lbs and it works great to get a long bag. Call me crazy but I like having the extra room at my head and feet. I have yet to try it in colder conditions but I am sure it will be plenty warm. You can't go wrong with this bag! This bag is down so if you are going to be camping in rainy conditions I would consider synthetic. I have 2 Mountain Hardware bags and love them both!
