The Mountain Hardwear Phantom 32°F women's sleeping bag maximizes warmth while minimizing weight and bulkiness.

  • Women-specific bags are cut to mimic a woman's shape while also providing extra insulation in the torso and foot area to help retain heat
  • Insulated with superior European 800-fill-power goose down, blended and lab-certified in the United States
  • Warmth is optimized through differential cut of shell and lining fabrics, allowing the goose down adequate room to expand to its full loft
  • Performance mummy cut features a snug overall fit that positions the down insulation close to the body, maximizing warmth and minimizing weight without restrictiveness
  • High-tenacity nylon shell is lightweight and tear resistant; fabric is treated with a Durable Water Repellent finish to repel moisture
  • Box baffle construction maximizes loft and minimizes weight; 5 in. baffle width keeps down from shifting, so cold spots are prevented
  • Tuck-stitched baffles (sewing method that keeps all threads hidden) prevent threads from snagging and breaking
  • Multi-baffled, tailored hood lies close along the sides of neck and face for easy warmth
  • But when it's cold enough to cinch down the hood, the down-insulated face gasket snugs comfortably and holds in warmth
  • Ergonomic draft collar drapes comfortably over neck and shoulders, blocking the escape of heat and sealing out drafts
  • Shape of Multi-baffle Comfort Foot Box allows feet to rest naturally; it also preserves loft and allows down to drape close to feet for warmth
  • Full-length, 2-way zipper with locking sliders stays in place when bag is partially unzipped for ventilation
  • Insulated draft tube with antisnag panel extends to bottom of bag to eliminate cold spots along zipper
  • Insulated zipper gusset seals in heat at base of zipper
  • Comes with mesh storage sack and stuff sack

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Phantom +32 Down Sleeping Bag - Women's Regular - '09 Closeout:

I love this sleeping bag, it's really comfortable and keeps you warm. I suggested it to my girlfriends, they all loved it, so now everyone has one. It packs very small and keeps you warm at night. I used it in 20 degree weather before and you definitely have to dress warm but it worked well. In the summer time, it gets warm but when I keep the zipper unzipped partially, it's fine. If you need a versatile sleeping bag for different seasons and want something that packs small for backpacking, I highly recommend it. It's pricey but really.. well worth it. I'm not a big spender but will spend money on the right products.
