Comments about Marmot Venus Down Vest - Women's:

I'm 5'4" and 105 lbs so I bought XS/TP in black and it fits perfectly. It has more curve than other similarly priced vests so it looks more flattering and contoured. It's super light but very warm (800 fill) without the bulk and the length hits nicely just below the hips. The only thing I would suggest is a double zipper or added snap on buttons so that only the top part can be closed when sitting down.

I was hesitant to buy the vest in purple (it is brighter than the picture) but I am really happy with the cheery color. It is so warm for how slim it fits. [$] for a [$] vest is quite a deal. It is more flattering than most vests, and possibly warmer at an 800 fill. I recommend this item. Not sure about the durability yet, but it comes with a lifetime warranty. Can't beat that.

I was slightly hesitant to spend [$] but I had a $50 gift card burning a hole in my pocket. The fit is great, I am have a smaller waist but wider through the hips but it contours perfectly. I'm 5'5" 150lbs and got a medium. It's relatively new so I can't speak to durability, but I did register it on Marmot.com for the lifetime warranty. It's warm, light weight, slimming, and stuffs into the pocket. Love it!!
