        I wore these pants every day on an eight day fall whitewater rafting trip in Idaho. They offered good splash protection, warmth, and breathability. I especially liked the high waist band which gave good coverage with adjustability. The only thing that kept them from getting a 5 star rating was the difficulty with removing them over my rafting shoes when the day warmed up and I wanted to remove a layer. It was a struggle, and I wished the ankle openings were just a bit bigger.

          I plan on wearing these over my shorty wet suit with a semi-dry top for fall fishing from my kayak. Material is bomb proof and should last a long time, seat and knees are reinforced, as these areas should. They passed my sons garden hose spray test!
