Comments about Marmot Trient Insulated Jacket - Men's:
I absolutely dig this jacket. One of the Marmont reps recommended it, I am glad he did. This jacket is incredibly warm and light as a feather, for such an insulated jacket. I really dig the insulated hood as well. The fit is also true to size, room enough for my Afterburner fleece as a midlayer if needed. This is now my fifth Marmont jacket, and now my favorite.

Comments about Marmot Trient Insulated Jacket - Men's:
I use this jacket to commute in and out of NYC. Cold New England mornings. Awesome jacket. I can wear just a button down shirt underneath and be totally warm. The fit of the hood is really good too. I love the angel arms, really nice feel.
I'm a jacket junkie and have many jackets. This is the go to jacket for me. I had a patagonia micro puff jacket that was stolen. So I needed a new jacket that was as lightweight and as warm. This Marmot is even better because of the waterproofing. It's also more comfortable. My only complaint, and I've experienced this with other sealed seam jackets is that the zipper sometimes gets snagged on the inside liner of the jacket. You just have to be careful zipping it up. That's my only reason for not giving it a full 5 stars. If they could sew the inside liner near the zipper more securely, that would be amazing. But seriously, if you're looking at this jacket, get it. You'll be so happy. It's not bulky. Perfect fit. Durable, warm as hell and waterproof and sooooo light. Love it!

Comments about Marmot Trient Insulated Jacket - Men's:
This is my 3rd Marmot jacket and I'm quite happy with it. I purchased it during a 20% sale, so it ended up being a good buy.
I'm 6'2", 39 in. chest (medium), and I always have a hard time finding jackets that fit me in the sleeve due to my build. The Trient's sleeve are just right considering my long arms, although I wouldn't mind an extra half inch or so.
The factory waterproofing easily brushed off some light rain and it hasn't flinched from the abusive wind (20-30 mph) we've had this December on the East Coast. The synthetic fill is light, but still keeps me warm like down.
Like all Marmot jackets, it's a tad fitted. The exterior fabric is stylish but not gaudy like some others. There's a nice patch of synthetic fleece-like material running along the top of the zipper to prevent chaffing on your chin - very sweet. The hood sometimes gets in the way when fully zipped, but I suppose Marmot figured you'd have the hood on if it was that cold out, and I tend to agree with their design.
My only beef with the jacket is the zipper. The slider is very finicky near the bottom stop. Sometimes it takes me a few tries to zip it up, which can get annoying when I'm in a rush. I might bring it in for an identical exchange someday. Hopefully it's just my zipper.
