The Hobby Push-Pedal kids' bike offers the functionality of 2 bikes in 1, letting young riders switch from a balance bike to a pedal bike as they improve their skills!

Sturdy steel frame features a unique, convertible design—it starts out as a balance bike, and with an easy process, the bike converts into a single-speed pedal bike
Convertible design is fantastic for helping children master the fundamentals of balance, handling and pedaling all on the same bike
Removable single-speed pedal system includes a chain guard to protect young ones and their clothing
Braking is accomplished in balance mode by simply putting feet down or using the hand-operated front brake; in pedal mode, a coaster brake is employed by backpedalling
Handlebar and seat can be adjusted to fit a rider as he or she grows, or can be used by children of different ages; seat adjusts from 14.5 to 20.5 in.
Plush horse toy attaches to handlebar as a fun companion and doubles as light padding protection
Beefy 12 in. rubber tires inflate to 40psi, although they perform best between 20 - 25psi
Maximum weight tolerance is 132 lbs.

A little disappointing when we opened box to find the bike to have multiple spots where paint chipped off.

My daughter took to this bike right away and learned to ride in less than a year. My daughter is tall for her age and has pretty much outgrown the bike but it really was the perfect size to learn and become comfortable to balance. The hand break was easy for her to use. So excited that we were able to by-pass training wheels and love that this is the only balance bike we found to have the option to add the pedals
