Every time I bomb down Werner, shredding double blacks and screaming "TONIGHT WE RIDE!" at the top of my lungs, I'm compelled to pray silently for the snow/rain that will never come in contact my buttery, almond-flavored man-skin. I feel personally responsible for this sad truth yet feel no remorse. The fabric "H2NO" acts as my personal chauffeur- taking me from the top of the mountain to the bottom without subjecting me to the elements. If i wasn't so SICK at destroying hills I would cut this coat into pieces, print my resume on a large swatch of the fabric, and lament as the ink failed to adhere to the all-liquid-repellent H2NO. Then, I would hike to the Patagonia headquarters and ask them for a job. I'd probably also ask for a new coat.Patagonia- please hire me.

I'm very happy with this product so far.I have only worn it on a rainy day that was a little chilly, but it performed perfectly - kept me dry. I do not know how it will be in colder climates yet

Used this jacket for the '11-'12 season. Worked great. Wore it on a cold, icy day with only a thermal underneath and I was kept warm the entire time.

I have been a Safari Guide for three separate guide services: Natural Habitat Safari Adventures, Wildlife Expeditions of the Teton Science Schools, and Evergreen Escapes/Explorers 3. I have used Patagonia outerwear for most of my trips and feel that Patagonia offers some of the most comfortable and reliable gear on the market. I can wear my Patagonia to town and while in the backcountry.

It is great. This is the first time I have strayed from North Face and I am happy I did. They thought this jacket through. Everything works right. FYI - there is a place for you pass - inside the bottem left side of the jacket there is a clip. Works perfectly. The pass just shows a bit at the bottom. Enough for the lift attendent to see it. Also, I agree, I would like if you could undo the zipper from the bottom when sitting. Not a big deal however. Over all - Great jacket.

This is an almost perfect jacket. I absolutely love it. Patagonia tends to run small. So, I got an XXL when I would normally wear an XL. That's not a problem at all. You just need to be aware of that when you order it.

It's breathable and comfortable. I like the chamois like feel at the points where you skin touches the jacket.

My only complaint is that it doesn't zip up from the bottom. When you sit, it would be nice to zip up from the bottom to allow more comfort around the waste. It's NOT a big deal. If the jacket had that, it would be a 5 star perfect jacket.

I compared the jacket to other similar brands and couldn't find anything that was a comfortable or nice.

It looks GREAT and I LOVE IT! I highly recommend it.

Bought mine in the Orange color. Love it. Nice and light. Can be warn with just a base-layer for mild days or with a full down coat when the conditions aren't as forgiving. Only con I have it that there is no where to attach my ski pass, ended up hooking it onto my pants. Pockets are smartly laid out and easily accessible throughout the day.
