Rugged, 2-layer polyester shell with H2No® waterproof, breathable coating provides all-weather protection
60g synthetic insulation provides warmth even when damp, compresses easily and features 90% recycled fibers
Soft taffeta lining moves moisture away from your body and glides easily over base layers; lining features a quilted pattern to keep insulation from shifting
Mesh-lined inner thigh vents release excess body heat and prevent snow entry

I always get a Medium in Patagonia. I'm 5'6, 130 ish, and have post baby hips & bottom. In pants I'm a 6 or 8. Well, the mediums were too big. When I used the adjustable waist to size them down they looked like I was wearing a barrel. The smalls were much better with the waist all the out, but I wish there was something between the small size and the medium size. I have to rotate my hips to slide them on. I need a smedium! If you're ording online- think of the small as a size 4-6 and the mediums like a size 10.

I like everything about this pant, other than the fact the sizing info linked to this item is incorrect. I ordered medium based on the waist and hip size listed, but I will be sending them back and getting a small which I hope will be perfect. If in doubt order a size down.

These are my favorite ski pants ever. They were extremely comfortable and durable and helped keep me warm and dry while skiing Wyoming. For features, I loved the easily accessible front velcro pocket and the zippered leg vents. I'm normally a size 14, and the large pants fit perfectly.
