    I own a terrific 2006 Fuji Roubaix SL. It's light, fast, and stiff, but came with a sloppy pair of wheels that were soon out of true. I eventually had to buy a wheel after crashing--something I do more than I like. I knew Mavic was a good wheel, so I bought the cheapest one I could. It's slightly heavier than my old one, but its rigidity gives me more confidence in the corners and on declines. Its a great wheel that's 90 percent as good as those 3 times its price, but cheap enough that I don't baby it. Perfect performance for fast riding, perfect price for crashing.

      Replaced front & back wheels 2 weeks before a, 860 mile tour; these wheels were incredible. I did 414 miles with fully loaded panniers (47 lbs) - 18 miles of fully loaded riding was on GRAVEL roads! Then 446 miles of MAJOR hills in Eastern Oklahoma (but let someone else carry the panniers). These wheels were awesome. No trouble whatsoever! And talk about a smooth ride! Definately love 'em!
