Bought this coat for my son to use at camp. He loves it and wears it often as a windbreaker when we are at the coast. He's worn it in light rain and it worked well. We haven't tried it in heavy rains yet.

Purchased this coat for my 12 year old son. Unfortunately the cuffs are so large in diameter (with barely any tightness to the elastic) that the sleeves extend well past my son's wrists with no method to keep them around his wrist. I put my arm through the sleeve and the cuffs actually fit my large hand/wrist with a bit of looseness.
The coat is a nice simple, light weight design with two zipper pockets and a hood the rolls up but the cuff problem ruins it. The new model of this coat has velcro on the cuffs - I see why they made the change.
