REI Pulaski Pants - Men's 34" Inseam is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfy, but they shrink up a bit. I would say these pant are incredibly comfortable and really sold me on REI pant wear. They fit pretty close to size when you get them. Watch out though, when you wash these they will literally shrink a full size. Though they might stretch back out in the waist you are not going to get that inseam back. I literally lost an inch or 2 on the inseam after 1 wash. I am rather disappointed about that but I was luckily able to just order a size 34 inch inseam and hopefully that will do it. They are in the mail as we speak. Other than that I really like these pants but I would size up maybe 1 in the waist and 2 inches on the length.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Design I found the fit to be strange. They are large in the waist and hips, uncomfortably tight in the quads, and unnecessarily large in the calves. One of the results is extra fabric between my thighs, which isn't comfy. Also, the design left some things to be desired. While I appreciated the extra belt loops, the rear pockets are too low. When you sit in them, your wallet ends up below your butt, which is also not comfortable! And finally, I think the materials are suspect. I didn't have any problem with them shrinking, as others have noted, but I question the longevity of it. I have other cotton canvas pants that seem like they will long outlast these. If I hadn't bought them on sale with a gift card, I'd probably return them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 32 waist, 34 inseam tighter than 32 I primarily use the pulaski pant for work as an engineeer in a laboratory setting. I have some older versions with the higher waist which were very comfortable; enough thigh room, minimal chafing walking or running, and durable. The three old pairs are about three years old. I bought new ones December 2012: 32w32i and 32w34i. The latter are about an inch longer and much tighter in the thighs, which I'm not happy about. The best part about these pants is the right-side leg pocket which is large enough for a smart phone; the 32w32i are just fine, but the phone is difficult to slide in on the longer, skinnier pair. I'll be avoiding the dryer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great pants disappointingly changed Like Henry Brock, I was really happy with my first pair of Pulaski pants that I bought two years ago. One of the first features I test when I consider a new pair of pants is the size of the coin pocket. I use mine for a DOPP/Buxton key case, so most such pockets aren't wide or deep enough for me. However, Pulaski's was perfect. I also appreciated the large side pocket with internal pocket for my phone and Velcro closure. So, when I received my new pair of Pulaskis the other day, I was really upset by the change in pocket design. The switch to a narrower side pocket is only a nominal disappointment because it isn't as roomy as the last one, so I can really only put my phone inside. Also, the lack of closure raises a concern that my phone could fall out. More to my sadness, though, the coin pocket is narrower than in was before by at least a quarter-inch and stitched higher on the pants than the previous one. While the old one had its top at the top edge of the main pocket, this one is above that and access to it is blocked by my belt. While I'll probably keep these pants, unless I find they shrink significantly in the laundry, I'll probably visit a seamstress and get the coin pocket switched out for a larger one, as the thickness of stuff in my pocket is now uncomfortable, the main hand pockets already a tad slim.
