I have two of these shirts (blue and red) and have worn them weekly during the cooler months for the past year. By far my favorite office shirts and great on the road when I live out of my bag. I have never had to iron these shirts. They are very comfortable, hang well on my body, and move smoothly. Best of all I feel sharp and confident whenever I wear it. I am amazed that of all the shirts REI sells, the Sausalito sells for less than others and performs just as well if not better than many of the other brands. I also have two short sleeve versions of the Sausalito which perform equally well. I plan on buying one or two more in the coming weeks to give my current wardrobe a break and add some more colors. Try this shirt...you will be satisfied.

Material is still soft with a nice drape and the arms are plenty long. However, this newest version of the REI shirt has been dressed-down by including shirt tails instead of a straight-hem. The shirt used to look much better out and not tucked-in. Now it just looks sloppy. They also put a gray material inside the neck line, which doesn't go with the green or blue material, and looks out of place. Again, they took a cool looking virsatile shirt and dressed it down.

I second all the comments from the 5 and 4 star reviewers above. Cannot speak to longevity/durability because, as soon as I bought one of these in short sleeve, I bought 3 more, also bought two long sleeve, and will buy 2 more L-S soon as these products can disappear, as did the Colombia modal shirt. That shirt frayed at the color too early. I am not going to wash this REI shirt after every wearing in case it too has that problem. I truly love this REI Sausalito line of shirt. Am hoping for more colors.
