Comments about REI Polartec 100 Teton Fleece Pants - Men's 30" Inseam:
Great pants. Perfect for cooler evenings. Does not itch. The waist cord and fastener don't work together as we'll as it
could. Cord stretches out to a smaller diameter and the fastener doesn't grip it when this happens allowing it to slip some. This small flaw will not stop me from buying another pair it is more of a suggestion.

Warm, lightweight, comfortable to wear around the house or while traveling to the gym or store. Quality zippers on the pockets are a nice touch.

Comments about REI Polartec 100 Teton Fleece Pants - Men's 30" Inseam:
These fleece pants have performed as promised. I recently wore these while walking around town in 35 degrees with 25 mph winds weather and they were comfortable and kept me warm. They are also nice for just wearing around the house.

Comments about REI Polartec 100 Teton Fleece Pants - Men's 30" Inseam:
THE FIT:
Runs a little small. I'm 5'10 athletic/muscular build and the medium was too tight for my liking in the seat. They would have worked for someone who doesn't mind a tight fit. A large was just right for me with enough room and not baggy. Also they DO NOT go down to the floor which is good as I plan on using them as an insulating layer under shell pants. So they won't stick out the bottom, they stop just above my foot. Perfect. I can pull them over my winter boots (Sorel conquest)
Pros:
zipper pockets
zipper ankle
warm
high quality
cons:
hand pockets are a size that slightly scrapes my knuckles when reaching in. But it's not painful or anything just could have used another half inch of zipper.
USE:
I've worn them under REI Taku pants in 19-23 degree F weather, doing little activity and stayed warm and toasty.
Also cozy around the house. Good stretch.

Comments about REI Polartec 100 Teton Fleece Pants - Men's 30" Inseam:
I bought these for a Basecamp trek, they were the best thing for the Tea House's cold nights and also as an over pant for shorts on cold mornings. They were just as warm over leggings, undergarments, pants and even commando! They will become a great cold weather staple.

Comments about REI Polartec 100 Teton Fleece Pants - Men's 30" Inseam:
I have tried a lot of other more expensive fleece pants from other manufacturers, but nothing has worked out as well as these pants. I have used them under fly fishing waders and gore-tex pants. They are also my favorite pants to wear around the house in the winter. They also work well for skiing and cycling. The main advantages of these pants are that they breathe better than most pants and are warm and light.

I'm in process of exchanging for a Large size, so I can't review the qualities yet except to say that the Medium size feels like a Small size. Very tight all around. I'll review the Large when it comes in 5 weeks (back ordered).

Comments about REI Polartec 100 Teton Fleece Pants - Men's 30" Inseam:
These are very comfortable and warm pants. Unfortunately R.E.I. put cheap zippers on them, one of the ankle zips split open. I also don't like the big zippers on the pockets, they scratch my hands when I put them in the pockets.

Comments about REI Polartec 100 Teton Fleece Pants - Men's 30" Inseam:
These are perfect for walks, hiking, & daily errands in the fall, winter and spring. I put these on a few times a week with a quarter zip fleece, base layer, and hiking boots/shoes.
I stroll to the coffee shop in them, hikes and will be packing them for my snow trip this month. Comfortable, great range of motion without tug. Breathes and dries well.
My only con is the drawstring was made from a very cheesy cord. When I am hiking or doing something active, I don't want my pants slipping, so I sought these particular pants because they have a drawstring with toggle, which a lot of others don't have. I didn't want to risk the chance of failure in the field. So, I simply replaced the drawstring with paracord and they are now perfect in every way.
I wanted to take a half star for the drawstring. However, I wouldn't take a whole one just for that. 4 1/2 stars
