    I am usually a size small in jackets this brand runs small so I got an extra small. The sleeves are about 2in still too long. Long sleeves are good so they cover your gloves in the rain, but this length left a lot of bunching fabric on my arms. The torso length of the jacket is also about 2in too long, forcing the front of the jacket to pooch out when I am riding - not terribly attractive. I got this jacket mainly for the new eVent fabric but I don't think the fabric wicks and vents enough on its own. I am a pretty warm person naturally but I was overheating in this jacket about 1mi into my 4mi commute. This jacket would be perfect if it had a back vent and long pit zips.

    I've used this to ride 7 miles to & from work in pouring rain and it worked beautifully. I have the matching pants, and while I wouldn't call them gorgeous, they're highly functional and make riding much more enjoyable because I'm not soaking or freezing. I love the long back and long arms, which cover everything even when I'm stretched out on my bike. Good reflective striping, well-taped seams.

    The only thing is that I wish there were pockets in the front. The back pocket is nice, but a bit hard to close.

    In all, a great jacket.

        I bought this for a bike tour, knowing that I wouldn't be wearing it that often, since I don't usually ride in the rain. Since it was on sale, I thought I was getting a great deal, until I tried it on. I'm 5'8", 130 lbs, so I got the small. I could not go smaller, but it fit terribly. It pooches in the front, the sides belled out, zipping it up all the way made the neck feel stiff, but zipping it partway made it look awkward. The zipper was tough to pull up and down. The sleeves were ridiculously long. I'm not interested in making a fashion statement in the rain, but this jacket was still too expensive not to look better on.

          I bought this jacket as an outer shell for riding my bike in the winter. I was a bit hesitant because it lacks hip pockets, and that is where I always want to put my hands instinctively when I am walking around. However, now I understand that the lack of hip pockets contributes to a very streamlined design, which I quite like.

          If you are a true petite, with shorter torso/arms, this may not be the best design for you. The XS size seems perfectly suited for a very unlikely body size, which I just happen to be. For someone 5'7", extremely wiry, the XS jacket is perfectly form fitting, even flattering, a small victory for the thin lady! No bulging or puckering anywhere for me. Usually I wear a small size in clothing, so this product actually seems to run large.

          Another reviewer mentioned the sleeves being too long, but they are designed for reaching over the handlebars, and seem just right for that.

          There is an arm pocket which fits a small wallet, and a lower back pocket, which holds everything I would normally put in the hip pockets.

          This jacket is also very breathable, and I have been experimenting with different ways to layer it. I can even fit a light down jacket underneath this thing for extra warmth. The surface beads up nicely in a downpour, and the windbreaking qualities are good while I'm riding downhill when it's 40° out.

          I would have given it 5 stars if it came in other colors, especially in the day-glo range. The blue looks nice, but is not as visible as it could be.

          Overall, this jacket is a high-quality, comfortable piece of soft armor which contributes greatly to winter biking pleasure!
