Comments about Amphipod Micropack SmartView iPhone/iPod touch Pouch:
Nice pouch and nearly perfect. The belt clip is strong and effective. Headphone use is not practical as the cord when connect to an iPhone is jammed to the edge of the pouch and over time will cause the cord to break. A right angle connector may be ok but, a cord that has a straight out connector does not really work. I returned the case as I wanted a case that would be useful for carrying my phone with the earphones connected.

Comments about Amphipod Micropack SmartView iPhone/iPod touch Pouch:
So I picked up this pouch and Amphipod waist belt (I also wrote a review) to carry my iphone and other junk for daily run.
This pouch does what it is supposed to do - carry an iphone and some ID and keys. The buckle is very strong and stays on my pants, I haven't seen them come off (I had other amphipod pouches in the past 6 years).
Also my iPhone is in Otterbox Defender, which is probably the biggest case out there, and this pouch swallows and covers perfectly. I love that.
The screen protection also works as you can still control the screen function. I don't listen to music whilerunning, so I can't say how they do on headset wire management.
The only compliant is it is bulky, and seems bounch a lot with a phone in it. I'm probably just picky, but thats why 4 stars.

Comments about Amphipod Micropack SmartView iPhone/iPod touch Pouch:
I bought this to use day to day for my I-phone and it works great. The clip is strong and easy to release when needed. I have another amphipod that fits over a belt - but I don't always have a belt so this one works great. Other nice feature is the slot in the back to put small bills or a credit card.
I don't use this to exercise - but its a great day-to-day I-phone holder. Better than the bulkier leather ones.

Comments about Amphipod Micropack SmartView iPhone/iPod touch Pouch:
This is my second Amphibipod product. My first one is at least 5 years old and it still functions, however it was too small to carry my iPhone4. This model is the perfect size, has a clear, protective cover which can trasmit the capacitive touch to control the phone in the sleeve and it has an extra pocket for a few bills, credit card, ID and a key or two. Not to mention it also serves as decent drop protection for the klutzy. The clip is well built and very secure! I've never had a problem with either one of the Amphibipods accidentally opening or coming loose, especially when it's being jostled about during my runs. With the weight of the iPhone it will bounce a bit depending upon what you're wearing, especially running shorts; just remember to cinch up your waistband! The pocket fits an iPhone4 snugly even with a bumper or other relatively thin case. If you have something like an Otterbox you probably out of luck.I've read other reviews that state the problem of the headphone cords. I've never used it with headphones as I don't run while listening to music (personally, I'd like to always be alert while running outside in a big city) Some have solved this by getting headphones with a right hand angled adapter or ones that connect via bluetooth. My only comments which keep this product from getting a 5 star review-Screen:There is a small perimeter of the screen that is covered by the neoprene due to the fact that the plastic isn't a perfect rectangle. This makes some tasks which require interaction with the full screen almost impossible. But for basic functions it works flawlessly. Price: [$] is a premium so either wait til it's on sale or justify the purchase by realizing that it's carrying something you don't want to lose or get damaged.Zipper:Like my last Amphibipod I've had problems with the zipper if you overload it and this one is no different. Just don't stuff it to the gills with a wad of bills, 10 credit cards, 2 sets of car keys... you get the picture. ;)Clip:Although I haven't had it long enough, the clip on my old Amphibipod did start to rust a little. Not sure if this one will do the same thing as only time will tell but I'm not worried as it didn't affect it's operation.
