The Outdoor Research PL 400 women's mittens feature double-layer fleece to protect hands in the backcountry and can be worn as liners under waterproof shells (sold separately).

Polyester fleece wicks moisture, dries quickly and insulates when wet
MirrorSeam™ design combines 300-weight exterior fleece with 100-weight inner fleece to produce seamless 400-weight double layer protection
MotionWrap™ construction minimizes seams for an excellent fit
Silicone palm inserts prevent slippage when used as liners

I bought these gloves a few weeks ago because they felt warm and had a good grip. I walk to work everyday so I was looking for gloves that were warm, not bulky, and had a good grip. After experiencing them in the cold, they did not fair well. My finger tips remained cold the whole walk to work. The worst part is that the grip is wearing off after only a few weeks.
