Comments about REI Activestretch Tights - Women's:
I will start out by saying that my main issue with these tights are that they have changed my old favorites. These tights are probably okay and functional if you don't know what they were like previously. Active stretch fabric is okay, but not as soft, warm and thick as true power stretch. Also the fit on these tights has changed since last year and they are now too long and loose in the knee to ankle area for me. I generally use my previous version of these tights to stay warm around the house and doing chores since I have gotten good enough at running that I overheat when wearing these even down into the 30's. Sadly I will be returning these having found some that fit better and are made of authentic power stretch for a better price point at a different retailer

Comments about REI Activestretch Tights - Women's:
These are amazing cold weather, outdoor exercise tights. They are super comfortable, thick without being bulky, and block out the cold and wind at 28 degrees. The only reason for not giving them a perfect score is that they are too big in the seat and inner thigh for me. I'm 5'4", 118 lbs and a small is too baggy. Other than that, I highly recommend them, IF you can get them out of backorder.

Comments about REI Activestretch Tights - Women's:
I have owned 4 pair of these over the years. I used them for running/skiing and staying warm around the house in the winter. This latest version is very disappointing and no where near the quality garment that the old ones were. They are thinner and lack the stretch of the previos versions. Hate the waistband with the tie - it constantly gets lost! Can't believe REI would sell this for the same price as the old ones as they are definitely an inferior product!

Comments about REI Activestretch Tights - Women's:
Bad idea to replace the former elastic waist with a string tie that can get trapped inside the hemmed waistband when putting on or taking off--very awkward.

Comments about REI Activestretch Tights - Women's:
I use these pants as a long underwear alternative. They are perfect under my rain pants for hiking and other outdoor activities. The length is perfect. The fit is close but not constrictive. They are the perfect thickness for what I was looking for.

Comments about REI Activestretch Tights - Women's:
I agree with the other disappointed athletes that miss the former Polartech REI tights. In addition to cheaper material and stitching, the new large is now shorter and wider. Extremely disappointed, returned immediately.
