This pack is awesome. Having hiked for over thirty years I have used dozens different packs from external to internal frame packs to everthing in between. This pack is extremely light and very durable. It's very adjustable and sits high on the hips and rides beautifully. I bought this last summer (at full price) and put it through its paces in a 12 day trip in the North Cascades with a 40 lb load. I rarely even noticed it was there. I would scoop it up at this price. I'm even thinking of buying another one to have as a back up, thats how much I think of it.
