Bought both a front and rear tire 2 months ago while my bike was having routine maintenance at REI. The tech put them on my bike and within a week the rear tire was getting pinch flats. Sometime a tube would last a couple hundred miles, somethings it would flat while pumping up a newly installed tube. I replaced the rear with a different brand, but did not replace the front because it was not having an issue, until last night. Pinch flat on the front, replaced the tube, immediate pinch flat. Took the tire back immediately.

Comments about Michelin Pilot City Tire - 700 x 32 / 35:

I used this set of tires (700x35c) on my cyclocross bike turned road bike for only 5 months. 100% road riding in all conditions (dry, rain, snow, gravel road, asphalt, tar-and-chip, etc.) Never got a puncture flat so that resistance was great, but right at 1,000 miles the bead on my front tire failed catastrophically mid-season. Even my stock Kendas that came with the bike made it through an entire season. The other tire also came with a molding defect on the inside that I needed to file down after it caused several flats in quick succession. Ride quality was generally smooth and surprisingly stable in rain, but they felt very unstable in corners, especially at higher speeds. All in all not a tire I would recommend. Yes, they are heavy tires with excellent puncture resistance, but that's about where the positives end. At this price point there are a lot better tire options for commuters and tourers.
