      A friend uses this board for fishing as it provides great stability for standing while casting. it can also be used for all types of paddling including surfing. not best for boney rivers but ok ford deeper tidal rapids or class 1 rivers.

      Borrowed this board from a friend, and was able to tie down out gear on the screw inserts for our day trip down the river. I like the secondary stability of this board, and the utility. Fun for a super long paddle. Maybe I'd even race on this board!

        I try to SUP 2-3 times a week. Usually 3-4 miles. I have had many boards and CR 14 ranks towards the top. It handles boat wake and light chop very well, and can hold a lot of weight. I am 250 lbs and I put my 140 lb 13 yr old on the front to test weight and paddle ability. It could have handled more! For its size, I consider it light. My only complaint,it dings easily.
