Comments about Victorinox Zip Around Travel Wallet:
This was a replacement from an Eagle Creek brand zippered wallet I had previously bought from REI. This Victorinox branded wallet is better in every way including thinness which makes it not as easily seen & more beneficial for a more level posture when it's in your back pocket. Plus, a more square design makes it harder to be removed by pickpockets. Also, its' rugged material should make it last a very long time!

Comments about Victorinox Zip Around Travel Wallet:
Everything works fine, EXCEPT the zipper! It just doesn`t hold up. When I zip it, I have to dig for it. I would have returned it but, after a year, I didn`t have the receipt. I was looking at other wallets but, I finally decided it can live with it.

Comments about Victorinox Zip Around Travel Wallet:
This is my *second* Zip Around Wallet. It is a daily carry and it is used about once a day.
I generally agree with the positive comments on the interior layout.
Unfortunately, the thin nylon zipper will not stand up to daily use. Both wallets separated on the lower corner bend. I reported this to the Victorinox via TRG group and they acknowledged a defect and sent me a new model. After 24 months, the second failed. TRG will not honor warranty, instead recommended a luggage repair facility. The repair facility judged it as normal wear and tear and would repair it at about 50% of the cost for a new wallet.
This wallet is to be used for vacations only, that is infrequent use as noted on the REI website: "Tough nylon construction withstands the rigors of daily use while traveling." If you think investing $1.00 per month say every 3 years for a new Zip Around is worthwhile then go for it.

Comments about Victorinox Zip Around Travel Wallet:
I can't believe this is a Victorinox product. We have Victorinox luggage and it's first-rate. So's my Swiss Army knife of course. This little thing is way too thin (won't hold many cards or money); the zipper is cheapo; the material is hard and inflexible - in fact, about as bad as a wallet can be. I was hoping for a decently-proportioned, non-leather wallet (Goretex or at least nylon). This one's not worth 10c. It is on its merry way back to the vendor even as I write ...

Comments about Victorinox Zip Around Travel Wallet:
I bought this product to replace my eagle creek zipper wallet, because after many years of use the YKK zipper would not track. The intention was everyday use, as my main wallet. I need a zippered wallet to keep from losing items, while doing my regular duties at work, which is highly active in nature.
This wallet seems to be good quality, had plenty of space on the inside, and has an ingenious device for getting to one's driver's license easily. A one sided sleeve with a tab on top, to grasp and pull the ID/DL out. That is where the good ends. The wallet is just to long or wide. It does not fit in one's pocket easily and is uncomfortable, in the front or back pocket. It just does not need to be this size to hold regular U.S. currency.
I will be returning this product at my earliest convenience.

Comments about Victorinox Zip Around Travel Wallet:
This wallet is the best I can find so far. I love the full zip around closure. Just enough pockets to hold cards. Durable outer material. DL/ID holder is nice.It just fits into my Levi 501 pocket. One inside zip pocket would be awesome. The down side is the main zipper failed after 1 year. [...] I exchanged the defective wallet for a new one. I will continue to use this product and watch the zipper for wear. If the zipper fails every year, I will exchange it accordingly. The security of a zipper closure is worth the trouble. I am pleased with the item and REI.

Comments about Victorinox Zip Around Travel Wallet:
This is about what I expect from a wallet -- holds a lot of cash and cards, enough pockets. Zipper eventually wears out, but that is expected with all of the cash and cards I put in and take out on a regular basis, requiring frequent opening/closing. A wallet can only do so much!

Comments about Victorinox Zip Around Travel Wallet:
I wanted this for travel but a hundred euro bill sticks out into the zipper so it's useless for my overseas "larger" currency as advertised AND the Victorinix logo ( metal) catches on your pants pocket. (I removed it before discovering the item is no good for foreign bills so I am stuck with this).
Overall too bulky outside not as claimed inside. Too bad Victoronix stuff is usually good.
