I should start my saying I have wide feet! It is hard for me to find dress shoes (business casual for office job) that fit comfortably. These are wide and stylish while being waterproof and stain and scuff resistant. I just got these a week ago so I cannot comment on the Durability but I have worn out other Merrells before i felt they should have and returned them to Merrell for a brand new pair for free.

I recommend these shoes to anyone who needs semi-formal shoes in a business setting that has trouble finding comfortable shoes that are appropriate-mostly becuase of width issues.

I am a fan of Merrell and have worn their shoes out multiple times. Ive had probably 5 or six pairs of Nubuck jungle mocks. These feel totally different and my feet seemed to spread out inside them. They were very uncomfortable. I have a friend who wears the same size and has worn the Merrell nubuck jungle mocks as well. I tried giving him the shoes, with the caveats. He gave up wearing them after 3 days as he was in a "world of hurt.
Going back to the jungle mocs.

Being that these shoes are slip ons, it is important that they fit properly. They are so wide that they slip off my feet with every step. They also feel very warm and do not breath at all, even compared to other leather shoes.

I like the style and comfort of the shoes, but don't like that water seeps in on wet days. I did spray the shoes with a leather protector prior to wearing.

This is my first pair of Merrell shoes, though my friends have raved about them for years. I had been looking for a quality leather shoe versatile enough for wear to class, with jeans, and business-casual, and these fit the bill. I tried on many other slip-on shoes, from Merrell and other brands, and most were just not comfortable for wide feet like mine. The World Legend is much wider than the jungle moc, and fit my feet very well with no break in required. They are also great for standing on your feet for long periods. The only two drawbacks I've found is a squeak from the inside of the heal when I first put them on, and a tendency to be easily scuffed on the toe. However, the squeaks stop after my foot warms up the shoe, and the scuffs are fixed with buffing. Other than that, it's a great shoe.
