- 2.13 in. wide-mouth opening allows for easy filling and pouring; bottle is compatible with many screw-on backcountry water filters
- Tough 18/8 food-grade stainless steel is BPA free
- Slim shape fits in most vehicle cup holders
- Loop-top screw cap uses BPA-free polypropylene on the outside and food-grade stainless steel on the inside so your water does not come into contact with plastic

Being a big fan of other Kanteens, I was very excited to get my hands on this product. No funky taste, easy cleanup keeps your liquids at a steady temperature.
The size and fit in your hand is fantastic. This is a top notch product. I've dropped the bottle a few times and it's held up well.
So far no leaks or issues with the standard lid.
I did have a small issue of the kanteen retaining some coffee taste, however a quick rinse with vinegar and baking soda took care of that issue.

This has become my new favorite bottle. The wide mouth opening makes cleaning a breeze and the capacity is just right for my morning smoothies.
As mentioned by another reviewer, it did retain a coffee smell but following the recommended cleaning method of using vinegar and baking soda had it back to it's neutral smell with a quick rinse.
This kanteen has kept ice solid for over a day and a half and keeps liquids piping hot for a good few hours.
The lid that comes with it is excellent and makes carrying the kanteen comfortable.

Performance appeared similar, even though the top of the Klean Kanteen feels like it is losing more heat than the traditional "screw-in plug" of the Uno-vac.
The Kanteen would benefit from a better "sip top" than is available - one that can be closed and prevent spills.

This is the perfect bottle. It is the exact same size as the 27 oz. regular Klean Kanteen. Empty, it is a little heavier. Full, it is a little lighter. It fits in the cup holders of my car. It fits in the bottle holders of my backpacks. It even fits in my tiny Eagle Creek guide bag. I was afraid that it would be too big, but it's perfect. Any smaller would limit the water capacity too much. Water stays cold for a really long time. Before bed, I add 3 ice cubes and it's cold all night. Before work, I add 5 to 7 ice cubes and it's cold all day.

I got this bottle as a gift from my girlfriend and the first day i used it for some coffee. and the outside of the bottle was cold, and i thought that it might have been a bad bottle but i opened it and took a sip and it was still just as hot as when i got it. i love the klean kanteen bottles and this is one of the best, highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great thermal bottle.
one thing, the company should try making maybe a 32oz thermal bottle, and it would be the same size as there larger 40oz, it would be great for a larger capacity.

The main use is to keep my water ice-cold at the office without a pool of condensation. This bottle does that perfectly. There is ice at the end of the day even after the water is refilled a few times. I have also had it on day hikes and in a hot car all day. The outside may be hot, but the water stays cold. The loop lid is great for on-the-go activities. I bought the cafe lid separately for use in the office.

Great bottle. I use it when I do hot yoga (Bikram) and keeps my drinks cold! It's a nice slim design. I just got it today so I'll try putting hot tea inside and write a update. I'm sure it will still be hot after a couple of hours. The ice in my kanteen is still there after 5 hours!
I bought the cafe cap for it. The cafe cap is NOT leaf proof. I bought it because it looked like a nice design. But I wouldn't flip the Kanteen with the cafe cap on unless you want liquid dripping out! The lid acts like a coffee cover from Starbucks!

I was carrying this in my car with coffee, it was a a tight squeeze in the holder so I laid it down on the floor next to me, when I reached down to get a drink I noticed a puddle of coffee on the mat. Ugh! Lesson learned! don't lay them down if you have the of sip lid on. It does keep the coffee hot for a couple of hours though and doesn't leak with the standard lid

PROS:
This did a good job keeping my coffee warm.
CONS:
-It retains coffee smell too much
-When I take the cap off a little liquid gets caught in the lip of the cap every time. When I put the cap back on the liquid spills that was in the cap.
Going to return it and keep my Contigo.

I bought it online with my dividend money, so I didn't have a chance to inspect it before buying. The lip was very, very rough and I was worried that it might ruin the rubber seal in the lid so I went to my local store to exchange it.
They didn't have it, so I went with the 1-L bullet model.
I'm really bummed that they didn't have one since it seems like a great design. I have the 40 oz Klean Kanteen water bottle and it rocks!
I would still recommend it based on its design though.
