The Modulus 1010S Cable Lock from Kryptonite is a patent-pending, modular locking system that adapts to virtually any lock-up situation to provide low-level security.

  • Exclusive lock head design provides the ability to customize the lock with a choice of cable styles and lengths; this versatile security system utilizes noose-style cables
  • Modulus 1010S includes: 2 coiled, noose cables measuring 3.5 ft. x 0.375 in. (106cm x 10mm), lock head with 2 keys and storage bracket
  • Lock head features a spring-loaded design and offers double deadbolt security; or each lock post can be removed separately while the other is retained for ease of use
  • Use 1 noose and save weight or use both for double security
  • 1 noose-style, braided steel coiled cable provides the same lock-up length as a conventional 6 ft. cable for less weight
  • Braided cable provides good cut strength and coiled design is easier to transport than straight cable
  • Double-cut keys allow the user to open the lock without guesswork or fidgeting because they fit into the cylinder both ways
  • Storage bracket for lock head attaches via water bottle mounting points, or a rip-and-stick strap is included for tool-free mounting almost anywhere
  • Lock head easily slides on and off the storage bracket using a release button; leave it attached to bracket for fast lock-ups or detach it for more versatility
  • Cylinder weather guard with automatic closure protects cylinder from dirt, water and road grime
  • Cables have rip-and-stick straps which support them during transport or when not in use
  • Eligible for Key Safe Program; register your key number with Kryptonite for easy replacement of lost or worn keys for a minimal fee
  • Kryptonite rates this lock a 3 on a 12-point system with 1 being simple, deterrent security and 12 being extreme security
  • As riders’ needs change additional cables can be purchased separately which work with the lock head included in this pre-packaged system
