            This is my first pair of rock shoes and overall I'm pretty happy with them. I got a half size smaller than my street shoes figuring I'm not a competitive enough climber to really merit killing my feet every time I climb. I use these for everything: top rope, lead, bouldering. They have very little stretch, and I've worn them for over 7 months, so don't go too overboard with the downsizing. I was hesitant to get shoes with velcro because I've heard the velcro wears out faster. The laces have worked great for me: I can loosen them when I'm working on a problem and then tighten them up when I'm ready to climb. Good shoe, good price.

              I bought at 6.5 in these shoes, I wear a 7.5 in street shoes. I have narrow feet and like that the laces can really tighten down the shoe but still accommodate someone with wider feet as well. The toe box fits the shape of my foot almost exactly, I can wear the shoes for long periods of time without being uncomfortable. These are great for gym climbing, I haven't taken them outside yet. They stretch a little (leather uppers) but not too much. I am glad I did not buy the smaller size.
