I use these shoes for indoor climbing and have had a few trips outdoors and they are great. No problems what so ever. They fit me great in the store and continue to tightly hug my foot. These were my first pair of shoes and I am very pleased with them.

I have climbed many years including gym, sport, and trad. These shoes are impossable to smear with on any rock and have very hard rubber. They also dont seem to be very durable. Have a small hole started after one trip to the Red River Gorge. Im going back to my trusty optimus primes.

These are stiff and have a sharp edge, making them good for standing on tiny things, but you can completely forget about smearing. They are so stiff in fact that they don't offer any feedback from the rock, so you can't really feel what's going on down there, which is not a comforting feeling when you're climbing. Also, the toe box was a bit big by the time I got a size that would fit. They were really comfortable in the store, so comfortable that I could overlook the bright red clown color, but now I'm going to return them.[...] Oh well, back to another pair of trusty Evolv Defy.

I just began climbing and was told to try on every shoe until the perfect fit came around. I have pretty wide feet so finding even a sneaker that fits well is a major task for me, but the Thunder Rock accommodates for my wide feet and is actually quite comfortable. The shoe will give a bit to mold to the foot, and after about thirty uses already, they still maintain the out-of-the-box performance level. They are a bit expensive, and as a student I'll be eating ramen noodles for a bit, but its totally worth it. Happy climbing!

After trying on nearly every shoe in the store, this one fit by far the best. I especially like the nice tight heel which makes heel hooks very easy. I take these climbing about 3 times a week indoors and the grip is great. The only downside is that after only 4 months they needed a resole already while my intro-level 5.10s lasted well over a year in the same use.

I wear a size 8.5 US size shoe, so the sizing was confusing. Since this shoe is more technical, it also stretches, so if feels better than when I first bought it. However I would not pay more than [$] for this shoe.

Great shoes. Very, very comfortable. There will always be a person who has a bad review, but ignore them... These are awesome rock shoes and I definitely recommend them to beginners and experienced climbers. Fit snug, and true to size. Quite lightweight and versatile, can be used for pretty much every type of climbing. Somewhat flimsy, but hey, nothing is perfect. These are the closest you'll get to perfection. Buy these.
