The box & online show this having a rectangle shelf -False: it is a smaller triangular shelf.The box & online show the dimensions as 12"h x 14.5"w x 20"d - False: they are 10"h x 13.5"w x 20"dOK that's not all bad but...The box & online show a maximum load of 80lbs -False: the smaller triangular rack specs in the box are only 65lbs.I bought this to hold two bikes totaling 72lbs. Since both bikes are far more expensive than the [$] rack I am not going to chance 72lbs on the 65lb rack.REI has EXCELLENT customer service and return policy. I called & emailed them about returning for a new one. They suggested they check the warehouses before sending a new one that could have the same problem. They said it would take about 5 days to get back with me. It took only 2.5 days! Sad to say though that ALL of their stock is incorrect for this item. Pictures and advertised specs are for what you see, but actual item is different. Being almost 2hrs from an actual REI store I was worried about getting there to return/exchange the item. No worries as there is no time limit to return and item. Even better, they sent me a UPS return label to ship back at their expense. Thank you REI!If the smaller 65lb load limit and smaller shelf will work for you, fine. Just be aware that this item is not as advertised.

I was able to easily install this in my garage. I had no problems mounting it using the hardware provided. As long as you are using solid studs to secure this as opposed to just mounting it to drywall (and pay attention to the maximum weight limit), you should have no problems with it staying in place. I can fit two bikes on it; however they must be counter-faced so the handlebars and pedals don't get in each others way.

So far my only complaint about it is that the shelf doesn't match the photo on the box. The photo shows a rectangular shelf on which you can place things, such as your helmet or gloves. The shelf is not rectangular. It is instead triangular. This results in having about one third of the available shelf space that I was expecting. That means I cannot put two helmets on the shelf, only one. The other helmet must hang below using the provided hooks.

Although this product appears to work well, I can not recommend it due to the misleading product description.

This rack does not hold 2 bikes. The spacing between the two bikes' top tubes is 6 inches-- measure your two bikes side by side and see if you think that is even workable. Also, the handy folding feature is too easy to hit accidentally and flop down, thereby dumping your stuff off the shelf. I returned mine amd made one out of plumbing pipe-- it required 12 inch spacing between bikes.

As a bike rack for an apartment this is not the best choice. I would have liked a rack that had the bike as close as possible to the wall instead of a foot and a half away. The shelf, or at least the size of the shelf, which is the least important aspect of the rack should be smaller to allow the bike to stick out less.
I would recommend this for a garage or other large space but definitely not for an apartment where you are trying to consolidate space. I will return this rack and try the gravity model instead.

The arms on the Pablo 2 are too short to accommodate two bikes without a lot of contact between the bikes. Consequently there is a substantial potential for scratches. The arms need to be about 6 inches longer. To obtain sufficient clearance, I had to pad the tray and move the inner bike onto it. It works but it's not pretty. I would be careful recommending this product and would not recommend it at all to people with road bikes.

This is a decent rack. It installs easily (mount to studs) and seems fairly sturdy. Make sure the bottom bracket is in the cup though (the part you remove to fold it flat). I've used this for about 5 months for one full suspension mtb without any issues.

Exactly what I was looking for. Easy to install, and perfect for mounting two bikes up off the floor. The first time I used it was a little challenging to get both bikes up, since the pedals and handlebars get in the way, but it was easy after that.

Also, excellent deal for the money.
