Comments about Princeton Tec Pulsar II LED Light - '09 Overstock:
I have an older model of this product that does not have a slide switch. I find the older product to be much better and has a longer useful life. I do not like the product with the slide switch -- it is always being accidentally turned on and limits its longevity.

Comments about Princeton Tec Pulsar II LED Light - '09 Overstock:
While the idea of a switch seemed like a good idea, its too easy to inadvertently slide the switch to the "on" position, so that I always find these lit up in bags, pant pockets, etc. I guess that's why its at the outlet site.

Comments about Princeton Tec Pulsar II LED Light - '09 Overstock:
I must agree with the comments regarding the 2-way switch being a problem if you want to put the light on your key chain. Anytime you lightly bump the light, like with your hand or knee when your keys are in the car ignition, the switch catches and the light stays on. It stays engaged way too easily. Putting my keys/light in my pocket nearly always results in the light staying on (though the beam of light showing through my jeans while I'm at the market is a conversation starter).
Consequently, the batteries are nearly dead in only a few weeks, even though I'd only actually turned the light on 2-3 times. The light doesn't even show through my pants anymore, and now barely lights up my way in the dark.
I had the old model of this light, which was squeeze only. No problems; those batteries lasted forever.
This new model is good only if it is stored where nothing can touch it until you want to turn it on. I put one in a cup holder in my car trunk and that light is still blindingly bright. But, this new model no longer works if you want it on your key chain, which is where I found it most convenient.

This little flashlight, the clear/white one, came with me on a wilderness gathering for a week and a half, I wore it on a string around my neck and it felt like a little crystal, it was light and small and always there just when i needed it, like a little firefly...the little black flashlight i also brought got no use at all

Yes, this light sometimes stays on but I really like the constant on switch, especially for walking my dog in the dark.
