Comments about Ortlieb Downtown Pannier:

I've only ridden with the bag twice, but today was a downpour which left nothing dry aside from the inside of the bag. The main flap of the bag is a little tricky to open and close due to the closure mechanism but I really like the shoulder strap (which must be stored inside the bag when riding which requires the operation of the aforementioned closure flaps). The bag is ridged so is freestanding whether empty or full. My bike is small but this bag mounted easily and without a lot tinkering to give me plenty of room to peddle.

This bag does have some inside compartments for phone, keys, wallet, etc but I they're all sewn on top of each other and filling one takes away the space from the others but they're better than nothing. I would have been nice to have a compartment that you could access without having to open the main flap.

Can't yet comment on the durability of the bag.
