I use this rope for outdoor climbing, it is light weight, easy to work with, the rope worked beautifully..well worth the money

I bought this as my first rope for mainly Trad Climbing and let me say it was money poorly spent. The rope looked frayed and beat in 4 or less climbs of multipitch at Red Rock.

I also encountered another climber with the same rope, and he said he was on his second rope after returning his first after 1 climb.

The bottom line is this is a cheap 70m rope for a reason. I would personally never buy another Edelrid product. Spend the money and get something else.

So I'm not sure how to categorize the pros and cons as I bought this rope, took it outside the other day (First time for both of us) and had a great time!

The halfway point is very easy to see.

I found this rope very comfortable on my hands, easy to manage and considerably lightweight (never even noticed it on my back).

On our first day we climbed some warm up 5.6s and then moved onto multi-pitch slab and had a blast. no complaints from me or my climbing partner!

wish I could comment on the durability, we'll see. Plus, it's a gorgeous color!
