The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Mammut Ambient Light Accessory:
This little device is great. Just clip it to any compatible Mammut headlamp and-presto changeo!- you have a battery-operated lantern. I used to think the BD (battery-operated) lanterns were awesome until this came along. It puts out just as much light, but is a much smaller package and even uses less batteries. It's a super nifty device for tent reading and outdoor cooking, eating and hanging out. No fire hazard, no fuel, and no extra lantern! Just your headlamp.

Comments about Mammut Ambient Light Accessory:
I use this product in my tent on backpacking trips. It's nice to have as it softens the light avoiding the blinding you get when everyone is rocking their headlamps to see at night. I don't know how great this would be on a headlamp with less lumens than mine, I have 60. Definitely worth having though.

Comments about Mammut Ambient Light Accessory:
I bought this with my dividend and am glad I did. I use this camping with scouts every month.I looked at buying a small LED lantern but came across this and am able to have a head lamp and lantern with one item. The only thing I would add is a hook to hang it up in the tent.

Comments about Mammut Ambient Light Accessory:
WOW, this thing is VERY cool! I hoped that this product would allow me to have an adequate lantern for illuminating my tent, the back of my truck etc without having to bring another unit full of batteries and light source and it did that perfect. I used this with the TR1 and the high setting allowed three of us to do all of our preparations for an alpine start just by hanging it from the top of the tent. light and durable... what will Mammut come up with next?
