Comments about Nathan Quickdraw Plus Handheld Bottle:
Bought two 1-1/2 years ago. I use one or both for running and hiking, including 25 races from 5k to 50k (yes, I even carry one 1/2 full for 5k's). Comfortable, strap adjusts so you don't have to grip the bottle. Easy to use valve, can even pull the valve completely out to clean, then reinsert.
They've been on my hands for 2000+ miles with no complaints.

Comments about Nathan Quickdraw Plus Handheld Bottle:
The case the bottle in enclosed in is great. It is soft and comfortable, and has ample storage space for keys and id. The bottle itself is flawed, however. The rubber top is too tight, and I found myself gnawing on it just trying to get some water out of it. The lid, on the other hand, leaks and sloshes all over the place. Since I already have the darn thing, I'll just replace the existing bottle with another one that I bought. What a waste of money!

Comments about Nathan Quickdraw Plus Handheld Bottle:
I bought this so I could hydrate when running this summer, as I don't really want a hydration belt. It is partially my fault for not reading the dimensions on the site, but its quite a sizable bottle, good for long runs or big races. I will be taking this for my races this summer so I do not regret the purchase. But for an everyday few mile run around the city, I think I just prefer / was looking for a smaller bottle. The pocket and handle are a great idea and size, for keys and gels.

Comments about Nathan Quickdraw Plus Handheld Bottle:
I bought this product as another option to my Amphipod handheld bottle which I have been using for 2-3 years to see if I liked it better for my shorter runs of 4-8 miles. The only real issue I have with the Nathan bottle is that the strap does not seem to be able to be tightened enough to be secure and I do not have especially small hands. The shape of the bottle is not ergonomic either, so it ends up flopping around on my hand a little and I have to grip it a bit and therefore, can not relax my hand entirely. Not nearly as comfortable as the Amphipod handheld.

Comments about Nathan Quickdraw Plus Handheld Bottle:
I was surprised at the tepid reviews. I have several handhelds, and this is by far my favorite and the only one I take on runs anymore. To the person who has to "gnaw" at the top to get it loose, I think you might have gotten a flawed one. My favorite aspect about this bottle is that I can easily open it with my teeth, squeeze the bottle with my hand to get water, and pop it closed with my other hand. Not too much effort, but no leaking either. I haven't had any problem with the elastic band -- it's still fine after hundreds of miles. The pocket is perfect for a key and raisins or Gu, or a cell phone. Oh, and I've taken a spill or two when I put my hand (the one holding the bottle) down to keep from landing on my face, and the bottle held up fine and kept my hand from getting scratched up. Now that they're on sale I'm thinking about getting another one, although mine is still in perfect shape. (I'm a little afraid they'll discontinue it and come out with an "improved" version, or I'll stash it on a trail and it won't be there when I get back.)

Comments about Nathan Quickdraw Plus Handheld Bottle:
I purchased this and have probably put 450-500 miles on it in the last few months. Generally I use it for any training run over 10k.
It succeeded for a while, but had some problems from the start and now some additional problems after several hundred miles. The 22oz volume is a great amount. I drink probably 2-3oz/mile, so a full bottle will last me something like 10 miles. Typically I will make it so my route goes by a water fountain if I am running for more than 10 miles.
The water bottle is also sized really well for my hands. I usually wear mens size L gloves.
The problems: First, bottle isn't strong enough around the rim. Maybe it's my big hands, but when I squeeze on the bottle for a quick drink, often the squeeze will cause the circular bottle opening to become an ellipse. The stronger cap holds its circular shape and thus water spills from between the cap and the bottle. Annoying.
Second, the top that you pull open to access the water leaks fairly easily unless it's pressed in hard and if you pull the top with moderate force, perhaps from grabbing with your teeth and yanking it open too quickly, it pulls completely out! Another annoying thing.
Third and fourth, problems arising from longer-term use: the elastic cradling the top of the bottle is fraying/will no longer return to its original shape and the reflective strip used to tighten the strap to your hand is yellowing and losing its reflectiveness.
This is a pretty good setup, but I think they could do better.

Comments about Nathan Quickdraw Plus Handheld Bottle:
I use this bottle when running distances of 5-10 miles; shorter distances don't warrant the bulk, and longer distances require a refill. The pocket holds a card and a small phone (my blackberry pearl fits with a little effort). I bought this to avoid the fanny pack feeling of a belt, and usually don't notice the added weight of a bottle; however, I think I'll break down and get a belt for the hands-free feeling, and to be able to carry more water with me. Works just fine, and I have never been bothered by sloshing like I thought I would be.
