          Comments about Gerber Microbrew Flashlight:

          Light didn't work right out of the package. Not worth the gas to return it. Contacted Gerber Blades and they recommended returning it by FedEx under warranty, which would cost about the same as the product.

          Beyond that problem, cheaply made stamped steel. Not up to Gerber standards;obviously an attempt to cash in on their name and reputation.

          IF YOU ARE STILL INTENT ON BUYING, PLEASE TEST THE LIGHT BEFORE BUYING!!!

            Brilliant idea, not good though. Turns on in pocket far too easily, which drains the battery quickly.

            As a bottle opener it works but is a little uncomfortable to use with it's stamped metal design digging into your fingers, needs more leverage.

            Cool looking, Good concept, but not the quality I've grown to love about Gerber, the switch easily turns the light on when in a pocket with your keys etc. opens a bottle with ease and the light output is good for a keychain.

              Comments about Gerber Microbrew Flashlight:

              The device is both good looking and able to withstand punishment. Yet, when put in a pocket or other container with other items the on/off switch is easily depressed, which rapidly drains the batteries. The batteries are uncommon (2 x 3V/CR1616), which are roughly $5 each. Purchasing replacement batteries equals the original selling price of the flashlight. This is not a quality item.

                  The product looks as great as other Gerber products however it has one major flaw. When used on a key chain or put in a pocket the light turns on and drains the expensive batteries. I love Gerber but this product is not anywhere near their best work.
