The Raleigh Cadent FT3 bike is built to carry you there, back and out again in comfort, whether you're romping about town on errands, commuting or working on fitness.

  • Hydroformed and butted aluminum frame provides a comfortable, sporty ride with excellent handling and pedaling efficiency; upright position improves visibility
  • Carbon Cross fork with aluminum steer tube reduces weight while also helping damp road vibration
  • Shimano drivetrain features a triple crank and a 9-speed cassette for 27 gears that'll spin you up the tough grades, fly across town and quickly roll through the miles
  • Trigger shifters quickly snap through gear changes to keep your pace
  • Tektro Alloy Mini V-brakes facilitate easy management of your speed
  • Fast 700c wheels feature tough double-walled rims and Vittoria Randonneur 700x32 tires for smooth rolling throughout the city and out into the countryside
  • Eyelets accommodate a rear rack and fenders (sold separately) for ultimate utility

After its initial break-in period you might notice your bicycle performing less responsively than the day you brought it home. Not to worry, this is typical of all new bicycles and simply reflects that cables have stretched or their housings have seated themselves into final position. To keep running at peak performance, all REI bicycles come with a FREE warranty tune-up, which should be accomplished between the first 100-200 miles of riding or after the first two months if you're accumulating miles less quickly.
