The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Heard their siren song singing to us in Folsom, CA a couple years ago. Love at first knock-off-the-table. The only place they don't go is thru TSA at the airport. After using at home, RVing, and on the trail, we are back for a permanent pair for the trailer. Agree w/ posters for the clear polly version- they bring a smile.

I bought two of these for backpacking/hiking. I enjoy a glass of wine at the end of a day of hiking and these are perfect. Light-weight and easy to fit into a pack. Decided they would also be great for using in our hot tub instead of plastic. Only drawback is the lip is really thin, so is a little odd to drink from compared to glass.

Comments about GSI Outdoors Glacier Stainless Stemless Wineglass:
This is very nifty. I already use a double-walled Klean Kanteen for hot things, but I wanted a simple cup that is easy to clean, nests inside my DIY woodgas stove, and can be used for beverages other than water and tea that I might not want stinking up my water bottle (ie, booze.) This thing fits the bill. I'm not a big wine drinker (it's good but not really my style) but it works great for whiskey and other spirits. I'm sure it'd work well for other beverages too. It doesn't impart any metallic flavors. One thing I noticed: on the outside, it has a brushed texture, but on the inside, it seems to be anodized (rough texture, not polished.) I'm not sure if this has something to do with preventing metallic flavors but if so it works. Being a wine glass, it's also sort of snifter-shaped, so it collects aromatic vapors from your drinks pretty well to enhance your experience.
My only complaint: I wish there was a titanium version! I'd be willing to pay a little more for it. It's really not that heavy though, and it does seem pretty stainless, so as long as you let it dry between uses it should stay rust-free for a very long time.
A good piece of kit! It's coming to Burning Man with me.
