by fromDon't bother. I bought these to use when motorcycling, driving, and kayaking. All of those activities involve long days with blinding sun, so I figured that a photochromic set of glasses would be nice because the tint would get darker and protect my eyes, especially since the specs for this product show it transmitting 9% of light, which is very much in line with the Oakley polarized glasses that I had and unfortunately lost. Also unfortunately, these glasses don't block the light anywhere near as well as the Oakley's. The lenses don't seem to change their tint, and I left them in the direct sun for 45 minutes. If you want a set of glasses with a slight tint, these seem like they might be a decent choice, but that's about it. And they really should do what they are advertised as doing.

by fromNot my favorite sunglasses The frames have too much going on and cause severe unibrow action! The lenses are too small and allow massive amounts of wind in, while also cutting right through my vision field. The ear pieces pinch. I have a very small head and face so I thought these would work but they are too small even for me. That never happens. Worse yet, the photochromatic lenses don't seem to do much of anything. They are too dark in the shade and too bright in the sun. I'm returning these and buying a replacement part for my old pair instead.

by fromNice glasses, but not photochromic. I bought these after seeing the Tifosi Tyrant Photochromic glasses, which where one of the best light adjusting glasses I have seen. I figured I would spend the extra $20 for the polarization on top of that, but these just don't adjust like the cheaper pair. They are a great pair of glasses. I little too tight for my liking though. I can't see them ever falling off.

by fromPhotochromic or NOT I bought this strictly for mtn biking and was concerned that it would not transition enough out in the woods. It has not ... still too dark during dusk hours (ie: 6-7pm). Will return for the Pave if nothing interest me. Other than that - they are GREAT!

by fromPretty good for the price I was looking for some lightweight sunnglasses at a competitive price that I could use for cycling, hiking, and kayaking. For the price these fit the bill pretty nicely, although I was disappointed that the lenses scratch pretty easily. Also, as others have noted, the photochromic quality is very questionable, as I can hardly tell at all. Still, these are very lightweight and reliable for both road cycling & other uses. I wore for a week backpacking and hardly noticed them. Also nice for kayaking and canoing.

by fromNice price questionable quality I liked the price, and that these are comfortable and very versatile for cycyling, kayaking, hiking. They are comfortable and stay put very well. However, having had them several months now the lens quality is VERY poor. They scratch very easily and after awhile the lens itself appears to deteriorate with noticeable quality issues, where it appears the lens itself is warping. If they improve the lens quality these would be very good.

by fromQuality, clear, but not too photochromic I am really happy with this sun glasses. I purchased a Ray Ban for the same price but never happy with it. Its snug fit is great for sport. I use it for cycling and driving.

by fromGood Pair of Glasses for a Reasonable Pr I looked at Smith, Oakley, and Native before a sales representative suggested the Tifosi Tyrannt. The problem I have with today's sunglasses designs is the low profile that when cycling I see over the top of the glasses. The Tifosi has an adjustable nose/bridge so one can adjust where the glasses sit. These glasses are half the price of Oakleys and are just as good in my opinion.
