After its initial break-in period you might notice your bicycle performing less responsively than the day you brought it home. Comments about Scott Contessa Speedster S25 Women's Bike - 2010:

The women's specific geometry is amazing; I have no upper body pain like I do with some other bikes. The components are decent for the price. The saddle will definitely be my first upgrade, as it is stiff in all the wrong places and causes some serious pain and numbing. Now for the MAJOR CON: Scott does not make women's specific seatposts. The same seatpost on my 49cm frame will be found on the biggest bike they make. I'm 5'4" and the saddle would not go low enough for me to get a proper pedal stroke in. Knowing this, I bought the bike anyway and took a hacksaw to the bottom inch or so of the seatpost and it now fits perfectly. Great bike for the price.
