The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

I live in the high desert/Mt. (4800 ft) that has rough terrian. I wear them any chance I get. They feel great and durable, perfect for the where I live.

Comments about Teva Katavi Thong Flip-Flops - Men's:
The Teva Katavi flip-flop is one of the best ever. I purchased mine at the end of last summer and expect to wear them all this coming summer too. I wore them off and on during the winter and all the time around the house. They are holding up very well and may last two summers.
Even though these are on the expensive side one has to remember that you get what you pay for, and watching the sales (sorry REI but you are not the only reseller in town) they can be had for less than the $65 REI price. (Yes, I am so tight that only dogs can hear me fart!)
The previous reviewer would like something with a bit more "flash" but I am an understated-elegance type of person (can one even apply that term to flip-flops?) and these meet that requirement all the way. I would have passed if they only came in plaid or some other "look at me" design. So it only "shows to go ya" that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
If I see these flops on sale somewhere I will purchase another pair to have "on deck".

Comments about Teva Katavi Thong Flip-Flops - Men's:
I had a pair of the reef negra's and wore them down paper thin within a year but they were great. I went back in to get a new pair of summer flops for this year and tried out a few other Reef's and these Teva's too. The Reefs were still good but these Katavi's blew em away in terms of comfort. They feel much better walking in. They cradle your foot better with the concave shape in the footbed and the heel is way thick and soft and It feels great every time I take a step. The sole's look solid as well and perfect for all kinds of terrain even the test rock in store. I've never had Teva's before but I read they are suppose to be solid on wet stone as well. During the summer I pretty much wear nothing but flops every where I go even when traveling. I gave them 4 stars however because they dont look too hip, somewhat boring actually. Some of the other reefs look fantastic, especially the plaid fannings which had good cushion and a soft toe pole. I almost went ahead with those but the Teva's just felt quite a bit better I ended up choosing comfort over style this go around. If your just kickin about though the reef's win hands down. In terms of size, I usually wear a size 9.5 to 10's and for some reason the 9's on these were spot on the line. The 10's had too much extra dead weight left over in the back that I could feel when walking. So I would probably suggest going down a half size or go with the lower of your size spectrum. (They didn't have 9.5's in stock so I cant comment there)
