by fromTeva's used to be great, now not so much aside from the velcro wearing out quickly the heel shock pad is painful after just short walks. I have worn Teva's for years and have been pleased with the comfort but now I hate them. They have always had issues with the velcro wearing out and i had two pairs were the soles separated. Again Teva used to make great shoes but they don't any more.

by fromVery poor quality Have owned more than 20 pairs of this style Teva over the last 15 years. The quality of workmanship and materials gets worse by the year. I live in Pto. Vallarta Mx. (12yrs.) where an all-weather sandal is a big plus especialy during the rainy season. 3 of the last 4 pair the soles have seperated within a few months. The 4th. pair I am wearing currently has completly worn tru the bottom exposing a plastic mid-sole in just a few months. The sole is litterally crumbling away. Agree with previous comments regarding heelpad it's as hard as a rock and painful. Looking for an alternative sandal. Definitly overpriced. This is a $39.00 sandal and I can't believe REI is selling something of such poor quality.

by fromIs that a nail, in the heel ? I too have purchased Teva sandals after discovering them in So. Cal. in 1988....... but not anymore, these a just a nail short of being the most uncomfortable sandal out there ! I bought em last year and kept trying but the heel/ logo in that area is PAINFUL. Teva I have been granted my divorce and this year will be dating some other sandal. good bye.

by fromMy sandals literally fell apart I bought this product for backpacking----water crossing and wearing around camp. It was my third pair. The first two pairs held up for years. This time after minimal use they literally came apart. They are a couple years old but I only wear them 12 to 15 times a year. They are badly overpriced for the quality. I can buy sandals which will fall apart in 2 years for $20.

by fromGetting worse every iteration Teva Terra Fi were good. Terra Fi 2 were ok. Terra Fi 3 are trash. Heel pad hurts. Shoddily made. Soles come apart. I used to be a big fan. No more. I'm shopping right now for a different brand.

by fromUsed to love them, but they've gone down I've owned a number of pairs of Terra Fi sandals. They get worse with each pair. The "shock pad" is horrible. The soles come apart after light use in water and on trails. Used to be a good product. Each iteration seems to get worse.

by fromNot What it used to be! This shoe is certainly not what it used to be! I would agree with many of the comments about the poor quality. It seems profit rules over all! Heel pad gets hard fast, Velcro wears out quickly and basically the sandal is now of poor quality. I also have worn then for years and have loved them, not now, I am actively looking for an alternative to the once great Teva.

by fromDont make em like they used to!!!! I, like many other reviewers here, had Teva products that we swore by. I have a pair that I bought back in the 90s that the soles have just started cracking on but the rest of the sandal, including the velcro is still in perfect working order. Now mind you, I have worn my old ones for hiking, kayaking, a little trail running and everyday use almost year round and am still impressed by how they have held up. I thought maybe it was time to get a new pair and had heard about how Teva, like so many other companies, had sold out to the overseas outsourcing craze. I didnt want to believe that such a good product might have gone to the dogs but it seems that they have. I tried them on and immediately could tell I was not in the same shoe. I resisted the urge to drop the better part of a Benjamin on them because the quality is just not there. So sad we cant make things here in America anymore.
