    This is my second digital Timex watch in about 15 years. First one lasted over 10 years; current one going about 4 years. I NEVER take it off and it gets plenty of abuse and like the commercial says, "keeps on ticking" (OK, digital watches don't really tick). It withstands hot tubs, pools, showering daily, power tool vibrations, home remodeling with deconstruction, mountain bike crashes, and much more. It's easy on batteries (about 3 years). The band dries quickly, and I just replaced mine after it finally cracked at the pin (no complaint). Easy to read numbers and the indiglo feature makes easy even the dark. Large buttons. The alarm could be louder, but I'm a sound sleeper so I don't depend on it. Just ordered another because it was on overstock sale (I'll probably have to replace the battery before I ever need to use it if the current one lasts as long as the last one) My wife thinks it's bulky, but I wear it at work with a dress shirt no problem. It doesn't go with any of her outfits, but does go with ALL of mine. ;-)

      Another great Ironman watch from Timex, but it DOES NOT have the Flix Indiglo activation system. Mine works great, fits comfy, but nowhere in the instructions did it mention Flix, and following Flix instructions from the Timex website did not produce any light. I thought it would be cool to be able to shake your wrist and read your watch on night runs, and I still do, but this watch DOES NOT do that.

        Nice little watch. I'm in law enforcement so the 24-hour function is a plus as is the Indiglo. My wrist seems to be "between sizes" so while one hole on the strap is too large, the next is too small. This causes the watch to rotate but turning the face inward(toward my palm) solves this issue. If you need your Ironman to be ridiculously huge you might want to skip this one as it is the size of a women's watch. Can't beat Timex or REI outlet for a good product, good price[...]
