The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Yakima Big Powderhound Ski/Snowboard Mounts:
Pretty easy to install only look about 10-15 minutes, but gas milage suffers with how much they stick up but guess thats to be expected with the cheaper products. Have only used with one pair of skis so far and they hold in great.

The ski rack is very difficult to install on my 2013 Subaru. Also there is alot of wind noise. I would not buy this again.

Works great, the list on the box did not include my car, 04 honda pilot for compatibility with this rack, but it fits great.

Comments about Yakima Big Powderhound Ski/Snowboard Mounts:
This ski rack is pretty difficult to install. Even after putting them on several times on my 2010 Outback, I still can't manage to do it in much less than 30 minutes. Ideally this would take no more than 15 minutes. It would probably go faster with two people but it shouldn't require two.
Also, the locks don't fit very securely within the plastic (yes plastic) housing. It is pretty easy to move around the whole lock mechanism when locking and unlocking the rack. The locks themselves should be integrated with the rack and shouldn't be a user install-able component.
Also on my set, one of the locks can no longer be twisted into the locked position so I am not even protected. You really need both locks to work for it to be effective since it would be very easy for someone to open one rack and simply slide your skis out of the other rack. I'm sure I can fix this, but after so few uses, I should have to fix anything.
Basically, I wish I had bought something else.

I was a little difficult to install, but probably due to the cold weather. Otherwise this is a great product.

Read the directions and it's easy to install. Fits with no problems on my 2011 Subaru Forester (stock aero bars). I just installed it in pouring rain, in the dark, under 20 minutes.

This product is a great product. It may take a little time and patients to install but if your jacked about winter it will be an enjoyable process.
It is technical to install because its theft proof. I don't have any complaints on wind noise myself. they are installed on a Toyota 4runner. ive driven up to 80mph with no extra noise heard.
The only issue Ive found after seasons of use is that the handle need to be pressed in just a little bit for the lock to engage. but besides that this rack has served me well. I am buying a Yakima bike rack for my hitch.

Comments about Yakima Big Powderhound Ski/Snowboard Mounts:
This rack was a pain to install and made a ton of wind noise (over 45 mph) on my Subaru Outback 2010. I returned it, and purchased the Thule Universal Flat Top 6-Ski Carrier. It was a lot easier to install and it made zero wind noise at any speed. I am much happier with the Thule.
