Offering comfort and versatility, the GT Transeo 4.0 step-through women's bike is an excellent option for all-around use, thanks to a plush suspension fork, plenty of gears and stable tires.

  • 7000-series aluminum frame with hydroformed toptube features a step-through design for easy mounts and dismounts; geometry lends itself to a sporty, comfortable ride
  • SR NEX-4110 suspension fork offers 50mm of travel to take the bumps and jolts out of the road and keep you rolling smoothly and comfortably
  • Suntour crankset powers you through the 24 gear combinations while Shimano derailleurs and trigger shifters offer quick gear changes
  • Direct-pull brakes facilitate easy finessing of speed
  • Alex rims are outfitted with Schwalbe Landcruiser tires for solid traction on city streets and riverside trails alike
  • Features mounts for rack and fenders (sold separately) as well as disc brake mounts in case you want to upgrade your ride

After its initial break-in period you might notice your bicycle performing less responsively than the day you brought it home. Not to worry, this is typical of all new bicycles and simply reflects that cables have stretched or their housings have seated themselves into final position. To keep running at peak performance, all REI bicycles come with a FREE warranty tune-up, which should be accomplished between the first 100-200 miles of riding or after the first two months if you're accumulating miles less quickly.
